ECOVACS DEEBOT X12 OMNICYCLONE

Overview

The DEEBOT X12 OMNICYCLONE is ECOVACS's bagless roller-mop flagship, and its headline addition is FocusJet. Mark a heavily soiled zone in the ECOVACS app, such as the kitchen, and the robot sprays high-pressure, crossed water jets to loosen dried-on residue before the roller scrubs it.

Mopping runs on OZMO Roller 3.0, a 10.6-inch roller that keeps refreshing itself with clean water as it mops, which cuts down on smearing. TruEdge 3.0 extends the roller about 1 inch toward edges. On carpet the roller lifts 0.59 inch and a smart cover closes between the roller and the rug, so a damp mop never touches carpet fibers.

Suction is BLAST: up to 22,000Pa with 22 L/s airflow. ZeroTangle 4.0 uses airflow to guide hair into the brush path instead of letting it wrap. TruePass four-wheel drive crosses single thresholds up to 0.94 inch and double steps up to 1.57 inch. AIVI 3D 4.0 handles obstacles, and AGENT YIKO 2.0 plans cleaning around your routines.

The OmniCyclone station is bagless. PureCyclone 2.0 empties the robot into a 1.6 L bin that ECOVACS rates for up to 48 days, and a scraper ring clears leftover dust with one push. The station washes the roller with heated water, cleans its own dirty-water box and refills the robot. PowerBoost Charging Plus restores 13% battery in 3 minutes. Battery life is rated at up to 200 minutes and noise at 61.1 dB.

FocusJet targets dried kitchen spills a roller alone can leave.
The carpet cover keeps a damp roller fully off rugs in mixed-floor homes.

Cons

Wi-Fi is 2.4GHz only.
The 1.6 L bin still needs emptying by hand, about every 48 days by ECOVACS's estimate.
The mop-wash water temperature isn't given, unlike the 167°F on the X8 PRO OMNI and T90 PRO OMNI stations.

Who it fits

Homes with a busy kitchen or pets that leave dried-on messes, mixed-floor homes where rugs must stay dry, and anyone tired of buying dust bags.
