ECOVACS DEEBOT N20e Plus

Overview

The DEEBOT N20e Plus is the simplest way into a self-emptying ECOVACS robot. It pairs 10,000Pa suction with a mopping system, so one robot picks up dirt, crumbs, dust and pet hair from carpets and hard floors, then wipes dirt and stains from tile, hardwood and other hard surfaces.

Its station is bagless. After a clean it pulls debris out of the robot's dustbin into its own container, which ECOVACS rates for up to 45 days of low-maintenance cleaning. There are no disposable dust bags to buy or swap, and you empty the container when it fills.

ZeroTangle is built in for homes with pets. ECOVACS says it reduces long hair and pet hair wrapping around the roller brush, which keeps pickup consistent and cuts the time spent cutting hair free by hand. The filter is washable.

Laser navigation maps the home quickly, so the robot cleans in organized passes instead of bouncing around. In the ECOVACS HOME app you can pick which rooms to clean, set schedules and draw no-go zones around pet bowls, cables or play areas. Alexa voice control is also supported.

The robot runs on a 5,200 mAh battery that ECOVACS sizes for larger homes and multiple rooms, with fewer interruptions across hard floors and carpets. What it leaves out is mop care: the station handles dust only, and ECOVACS doesn't describe mop washing, drying or automatic mop lifting for this model. That keeps the station compact and the robot simple to run day to day.

Laser mapping and room-by-room control at the entry level of the range.
The same 10,000Pa suction as the N30 OMNI.

Cons

The station doesn't wash or dry the mop, so mop care stays a manual job.
No automatic mop lifting is described, so mark rugs as no-go zones on mopping runs.
ECOVACS doesn't describe a camera or 3D obstacle sensor, so clear cables and socks before a run.

Who it fits

First-time robot owners, apartments and smaller homes with mostly hard floors, and pet households that want daily hair pickup and a bagless station without paying for mop washing.

Questions

Does it mop as well as vacuum?

Yes. The DEEBOT N20e Plus is a robot vacuum and mop, so it handles both jobs in one machine.

How strong is the suction?

ECOVACS gives the DEEBOT N20e Plus 10,000Pa of suction. Higher Pa figures generally mean more pull on carpet and debris; compare it with other models in the DEEBOT range table.

Does it empty its own dustbin?

Yes. Self-emptying is one of the features ECOVACS names for this model, so the station takes the dust from the robot after a run.

Which series is it part of?

It belongs to the DEEBOT N series and compact models. See the other models in the series on the robot vacuums page.
